that one is a little difficult to comment because there are a few samples that i truly love... and of course i appreciate the overall idea of such a disc but there´s a huge "but" which is:

the major part of the cd ( the ambient synthesizer pads for there´s hardly anything "natural" at all ) sounds like "ian boddy goes jd 990". i really love roland sounds but the jd is so very prominent that i cannot use these sounds properly ( why should i at all? i can program my rolands by myself ). the blending with wavestation doesnt help either.

the drum- and fmPercussion-sounds are good, at times brilliant ( these analog bassdrums are cool ), the low machine drones are really menacing ( about as good as those to be found on distorted reality ) but thats it.

virtual rating:

• - sound quality: 7 out of 10, its almost *too* clear for me, too digital - but thats a subjective matter, it should be a "good" sound quality
• - originality: 5 out of 10, some truly nice sounds but too many roland-esques.
