The Psychotronic Sounds of NeuroniumPage 3 ../../%7Bshort%20description%20of%20image%7D

Summary. Audio quality throughout is excellent, I didn't notice noise anywhere.

So what do you get for your money - basically 43 pad sounds, many of which do have a simliar feel to them. The quality of many of these is excellent, and many of them are very usable, if your looking to make space or ambient type music there are sounds here you can use for sure. For other genres of music this would have to be very much a luxury buy if you have a need for these sorts of sounds..

Whilst I'm all in favour of specialist sample CD's one wonders who this is aimed at - this isn't a construction kit for producing Neuronium sounding tracks - some of the elements are here but you would need a lot more. Check out Komputers - Inside for this sort of targeted construction kit approach.

I was expecting a lot more from this CD, its short on sounds, short on time (there is at least 20 minutes extra that could have been fitted on) and short on any kind of variety. What there is, is generally very good, and quite usable, but there just isn't enough material here. There are other collections available that offer equal quality but with a vastly wider choice of sounds.

Score. Luxury purchase - 4/10.
