The second CD-ROM and the second half of the Audio CD is dedicated to individual loop components, individual hits and some assorted pads & stab sounds. I'll go through the audio section here and then go on to mention what you get extra in the CD-ROM version.

All of the loops in the second section match the 11 BPM's of the main loops section, and start off with 22 Tabla loops and 22 Tambourine loops, though these loops bear little resemblance in the main to the instruments they were sourced from. Distorted and mutated say the liner notes and I would agree, heavily effected, there are some nice breathing type effects, though I wonder if some of the more extreme effects are that usable musically, but no doubt will suit someone !

Next up are a few pad sounds, 12 to be precise, either wonderfully evocative ethereal floaty evolving pads, or powerful "pads" that'll blow your speakers, wonderful for bashing out power chords. Wish there were more as these guys can create a stunning synth sound, but this is mainly a percussive CD so...

The remainder of the CD is then filled up with individual sounds, either components of the earlier loops or new ones, there is quite a collection, 32 assorted stabs, 20 bass sounds, though most are more like pads than basses, but not bad, 36 weird and wonderful kick drums, same can be said of the 36 snare drums and even more so of the 75 hi hat sounds. Finally rounds out with 18 rides, 22 crashes and 40 toms, and track 99 is a 1kHZ digital test tone. Useful if your looking for some slightly unusual percussion sounds, as usual there is a ton of processing done in places to distort a once mundane hi hat, for example, in to a zippy scratch.

If you wanted another reason to buy the CD-ROM version though, here you get an extra 11 tambourine loops, a whole collection of over 100 short mangled and distorted breaks and loops, again matched to the BPM's of the main collection, some chopped radio effects, which are interesting, some synth loops, guitar loops and more percussive hits too. Suffice to say all an extra bonus to what is already a very comprehensive collection.
